Jason Owens brings over two decades of international and domestic experience leading large-scale oil and gas infrastructure projects across onshore and offshore environments. As Chief Operating Officer at Seaside LNG, he oversees project execution, construction planning, safety, and system completions, helping expand Seaside’s integrated LNG delivery capabilities across the U.S.
Prior to joining Seaside, Jason held senior roles at Mexico Pacific, Motiva Enterprises, Tesoro Corporation, and Chevron, where he managed multi-billion-dollar capital projects, led diverse engineering teams, and ensured regulatory and safety compliance at every stage. His work has spanned LNG terminals, marine infrastructure, and refinery upgrades.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Business Administration from Louisiana Tech University and completed the Executive Leadership Program at the Texas McCombs School of Business. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a former collegiate athlete.
